Copyright takedown contact
Sonoeazy is a short, one-event audio listening experiment. If you believe a clip on this service contains material you own the copyright to, send a takedown notice to eric@sonoeazy.com.
What to include
A valid notice must contain all six of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of someone authorized to act on your behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- Identification of the clip on this service, sufficient to locate it — the clip URL or clip ID is best.
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Response timing
Notices received at the address above are reviewed within 24 hours. Valid notices result in the clip being removed from public access.
No designated agent
Sonoeazy has not registered a designated agent with the US Copyright Office for this event. The service does not therefore claim DMCA safe harbor under 17 U.S.C. § 512. The takedown process above is provided as a good-faith mechanism for resolving copyright concerns at the scale of a single short event.
Counter-notice
Clips on this service are submitted anonymously. There is no mechanism to verify a counter-notice from the original uploader, so all takedowns on this service are permanent.
